Nintendo DS Emulators
Nintendo DS emulators are in the early days of development. For those of you who were around back in 1996 or 1997, you may remember how SNES emulators progressed slowly, due to lack of hardware knowledge, and slow PCs. The Nintendo DS emulators of days are in a very similar situation with their development. The Nintendo DS emulators you see here such as DeSmuME, iDeaS, and NO$GBA all run a few commercial roms, such as Super Mario 64 DS ROM, but the emulator’s do not have great compatibility, sound, and speed. The Nintendo DS is a handheld game console developed and manufactured by Nintendo. Released in 2004 in the USA and Japan, and the rest of the world in 2005, the Nintendo DS is shaped exactly like the old Nintendo Game and Watch handheld games released by Nintendo in the early ’80s. In early 2006, Nintendo released the Nintendo DS Lite in Japan, a redesigned system which is slimmer and lighter with brighter screens, a longer and thicker stylus for the touch screen, an improved battery, and a relocated microphone. Later in 2006, the Nintendo DS Lite was released North America, Europe, Australia, and China.Ta. 16 has the following tech specs:

- CPUs: One ARM9 and one ARM7
- Sound: Stereo speakers providing virtual surround sound, depending on the software
- Battery: Lithium ion battery delivering six to 10 hours of play on a four-hour charge, depending on use; power-saving sleep mode; AC adapter
- Languages: English, Japanese, Spanish, French, German, Italian
- Color: Silver and black
