ePSXe is a Sony Playstation emulator for your PC running under Windows, programmed by calb, Galtor and _Demo_ ! ePSXe takes advantage of the popular PSX plugins system, which has been introduced to the scene by PSEmu Pro, a great project which got stopped after a beta got leaked to the public. ePSXe and it’s components are all completly programmed in C++. ePSXe requires the ePSXe bios to run the games it supports. For obvious reasons, you wouldnt find the ePSXe bios anywhere on this site. :P ePSXe plugins can be found on various sites around the ‘net. ePSXe plugins add various features and improvements to ePSXe such as better graphics, sound, cdrom support, gamepad support, etc. This version of ePSXe has the following changes:
Looks like we may have a new legit PS2 on our hands soon (or however quick the pSX authors will release their emulator). pSX is regarded as one of the, if not the best PS1 emulators available for Windows. Now comes word that it has added preliminary support for PS2 as well. The author has posted screen shots of Final Fantasy X working under the emulator:
zodttd, author of gpsphone (gameboy advance emulator for iphone) has released, psx4iphone v0.1.0. psx4iphone This is an unofficial Playstation 1 emulator for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It has a good compatibility rate and features save states and a dynarec for added performance.

ZodTTD is working on porting psx4all to the iPhone & iPod Touch, he had this to say about his progress:
- My very first build of psx4all for the iPhone & iTouch worked! You gotta love when the first compile for a program works! These are two quick screenshots of the very first build (note: not a release, just a work in progress) …Tactics Ogre
Buster Bros Collection

These images won’t reflect how the release will look. Also ignore the data in the debug information at the top, as it’s not accurate.
What can you look forward to in the first release of psx4iphone? Depends on how the beta testing goes. I will be working on the existing dynarec (cpu emulation) quite a lot to improve performance as it will be required. The screen scaling and screen placement will be drastically improved over the above images. Memory card support will work, and save states might work. Sound will be implemented as well. The interface/gui will be very similar to gpSPhone’s just with 4 hard buttons instead of just A+B, and L2 and R2 buttons. A rough estimate would be about 75% of games will be compatible. With such a large library of games, this may or may not include your favorite game. Performance will have to be increased about 25% to get a good portion of games running smoothly. This can be done.
I will be contacting those who donated to me (for gpSPhone and psx4iphone) when a beta of psx4iphone (also works on iPod Touch) is available. If there’s a large amount of beta testers and the demand is there, it could be within a matter of days.
