WinUAE 1.5.1 RC2
WinUAE 1.5.1 RC2 is easily the best Amiga emulator available for Windows. As was mentioned in the previous WinUAE public beta series, versions from today on do NOT work on Windows 98/ME anymore. BTW, this is not a typo. WinUAE 1.5.1 RC2 is now considered in “release candidate stage”, which means the full release of WinUAE 1.5.2 is due in the coming days. This update has these changes since the last Win UAE 1.5.1 public beta:
RC2:
- PAL filter was not selectable
- direct3d fullscreen mode switching really works now (non-flashing fullscreen d3d->other mode switching coming after 1.5.1)
- new autoswitching input handling got confused if multiple USB game controller had same product GUID
- fixed some harmless and ancient thread handle leaks
