Dark_Alex custom firmware 3.90 M33 and 1.50 Kernel addon for PSP
Dark AleX has released the latest custom firmware for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) with custom firmware 3.90 M33. This new build fixes a bug connected to the March33 NO UMD. Dark_alex also noted the changes in the auto-updater function that was included in the previous version of custom firmware 3.80. He’s noted instability with the latest version of the updater. If this happens to you, Dark AleX mentions that you should restart the installer and try again. Dark AleX also updated his site with the release of the 1.50 kernel addon for the PlayStation Portable (Fat). The 1.50 kernel addon allows you to launch PSP homebrew which have not been updated to run on the latest/current firmware.
Heres what’s new:
Custom Firmware 3.90:
* The degeneration check and correction of IDS keys happens too in 3.71 now.
* Added code to download 3.90 PBP from net via wifi. Note that his code is not yet 100% stable, it may crash when selecting AP. In that case, reinit the installer.
* L+triangle has been restored as method to bypass battery. If you already have 390.PBP keep those buttons pressed until you see “Veryfing 390.PBP”. If the 390.PBP is being downloaded bia wifi, press those buttons at the end of download until you see the previous sentence.
As always, it is strongly suggested that you to take a look at the readme.txt file for details on how to install the latest custom firmware on your PSP, and that your PSP must already have custom firmware CFW 3.52 M33-3 or higher already installed before updating to this.
The Kernel 1.50 update only works for the newly released custom firmware 3.90 M33.
