64DD dumping, a reality
Interesting news or N64/64DD fans. According to this post:
Thanks to our member and good friend, Kammedo, 64DD dumping is now fully possible in practice, not just myth.
Using Partner, a KMC n64 and (theoretically) any DD( retail or dev), the images can be transferred from magnetic medium into eternity.
I would like to personally thank Kammedo, because thanks to his dedication and efforts, the world over can now perhaps be a step closer to enjoying the legend of what is 64DD, even if they aren’t one of the lucky few who can afford it.
Obviously, this is a technical triumph, so naturally don’t go around asking for dumps. We all know they will happen one day, preservation being my main concern, but also it might give way to dev disks being uncovered, with corey’s M3 disks comming to mind first.
