Nestopia (Mac) 1.37 beta
Richard Bannister has updated his website with news of his port of Nestopia. He has started adding new features to the emu that have not been added to the Mac version, but some of the changes have now broken Emulator Enhancer (which can be downloaded from his website) for the time being but will be fixed. Changes include:
- Synchronised with the latest release for Windows.
- Worked around a crash in NTSC mode caused by the Xcode optimizer.
- Added support for the Zapper light gun (using the mouse).
- Added support for configuring dip switches in VS games.
- PAL games now play at the correct speed of fifty frames per second.
- Fixed a nasty crash that could occur when using high requirement blitters (HQ4x/etc) on slower multiprocessor machines.
- Added a hidden preferences option to disable the information placards (”Emulator Reset”, etc). To change this, open the emulator plist file in a text editor.
